Excellent hotel in the very center of Tomar. It is rare these days to find a hotel that claims to be 4-star and meets all the standards, but Casa Dos Oficios even surpassed them - everything is perfect from the comfort of the room to the attitude of the staff towards guests. Also a big plus is the special price for parking (10 euros or so) - it is important not to drive to parking right away, but first stop to unload luggage near the hotel (the street seems to be pedestrian, but in fact it is accessible for cars and you can safely stop for a few minutes right next to the hotel doors), get cards for entering the parking lot at the reception and enter there only with this card. Then there will be no additional costs). We would happily recommend the Sabores ao Rubro restaurant, a three minute walk away, for dinner, it was wonderful!

Casa dos Oficios was a fantastic choice! I'll start with the surroundings: Tomar is phenomenal and I wish I had stayed more time there exploring the city. The hotel absorbs the historical atmosphere of the city. It feels like finding a modern gem in a medieval town. The location is superb - right in the centre, walking distance to anything. Checking was easy. The staff is welcoming and nice. The room had a great size, a large and comfy bed, a clean and well equipped bathroom. All amenities were great too. Breakfast was simple, but got the job done.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The personnel were incredibly friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. I also loved the common living room, which was a cozy space with comfortable sofas, books, and drinks available at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this place!

The old adage of location being important, we could not get any better location in Tomar. We totally lucked out. Did all of best tour spots on our own walking from our hotel. And it was an exceptional building, part of our historic building appreciation. We were given tips on where to eat and they turned out wonderful. So I must say the staff did an incredible job of assisting us to make Tomar a special place for us. Should have stayed another day!

The staff member personally checking us in proceeded to take our bags up on the lift. He went over the various sites and times with a map while leaving our baggage. He spent considerable amounts of time as to stress which sites we must seen Sunday(our arrival) as only one item of import was open on Monday. In addition my spouse and I came down with a horrible cold/flu on Sunday night and literally could not leave bed on Monday. Casa d Oficios made sure we had a breakfast tray and allowed us to stay another day while not disturbing us. excellent staff and Breakfast. The bar in a side lv8ing room was entirely complementary although we did not avail ourselves of it. Tomar was definitely a highlight of our Trip and lots of kudos to this Hotel and staff.

Loved the old restored building/hotel, very charming and well appointed! Staff were super helpful and the hotel was close to everything on foot. A hot/cold buffet breakfast was served each morning, which was a bonus. Tomar is a small town, so the narrow cobblestone streets were not car friendly. Google Maps had a hard time finding the hotel, and parking was a pain. However, once we found the hotel and parking garage, everything was fine. Nice "historic" hotel that has been totally remodeled.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was exceptional! They were kind and helpful on navigating what best to see when visiting. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We were only there for one night and wished we had spent another day. The breakfast was fine, but what was most impressive was the manager made us eggs when they had run out! (We were at the tail end of the breakfast rush!) What makes this hotel special is that attention to detail. We were impressed and would highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, incredibly located. The room was very large, with enough room for a couch, desk, and room to move around. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom was nice with a large overhead shower head. There were a lot of options for breakfast and all were tasty and well stocked. The staff was exceptional, especially Vasco who works reception and as a concierge. Vasco was very helpful, friendly, and professional. The location was exceptional: right in the historic section of town, close to the park, and walking access to the steps to the Knights Templar Castle and Church.

The hotel is in a historic building but with modern bathrooms, A/C and comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Hotel entrance is on a narrow medieval street. We didn't dare to drive there and instead left our car at the parking garage a block away from the hotel. It's easier to bring your luggage, it's just a 5 min. walk from the garage. Parking is 6 Euro per 24 hours but you need to pay in advance at the parking garage counter on the first floor. We stayed in Deluxe Double room #106. The suite had a little sitting room with sofa, decent size bedroom with a small bar-refrigerator and coffee/ tea maker. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was the best part of our suite, spacious with a stylish tub on claw legs and a shower. Breakfast was decent with a selection of cheese, meats, fruit, yogurt and scrambled eggs.
